When you interact with Pay Lobster smart contracts on Base L2, the following information is recorded on the blockchain:
- Wallet Addresses: Your public wallet address(es)
- Transaction Data: All transactions, including escrow creates/releases, token swaps, bridge transfers, amounts, recipients, timestamps, and smart contract interactions
- Reputation Data: Reputation scores, trust tiers (Bronze/Silver/Gold/Diamond), ratings, and dispute history
- Agent Identity: Agent names, capabilities, URIs, and metadata you register via the Identity contract (ERC-721)
- Credit Data: Credit scores and lending activity
- Spending Mandates: Pre-authorized spending limits and usage
This data is publicly visible on the blockchain and cannot be deleted or modified. Anyone can view this information using blockchain explorers like Basescan.
2.2 Optional Account Information
If you choose to create an account or subscribe to notifications, we may collect:
- Email Address: For notifications, account recovery, and important updates
- Display Name: Optional name for your profile
- Notification Preferences: Your preferences for alerts and communications

5. Blockchain Transparency Disclaimer
All on-chain data is inherently public and permanent.
Blockchain technology is transparent by design. When you use Pay Lobster smart contracts:
- Your wallet address and transactions are visible to anyone
- Transaction history cannot be deleted or hidden
- Smart contract interactions are recorded forever on the Base blockchain
- Anyone can analyze on-chain data to infer patterns, relationships, or behavior
This is a fundamental characteristic of public blockchains and cannot be changed by Pay Lobster or any other party.
6. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
6.1 Third-Party Service Providers
We work with third-party providers to operate our Services:
- RPC Providers: We use Base RPC nodes (PublicNode) to interact with the blockchain
- Wallet Providers: RainbowKit, WalletConnect, and other wallet connection services
- Swap/Bridge Providers: 0x Protocol (token swaps) and Li.Fi (cross-chain bridges)
- Fiat On-Ramp: Coinbase Onramp for fiat-to-crypto conversions
- Authentication: Firebase Authentication for account management
- Analytics: Vercel Analytics (anonymized)
- Hosting: Vercel for web infrastructure
6.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, including:
